The Bark Parade was set up by Kyra, who became a certified dog trainer after her rescue dog, started showing severe signs of reactivity. She then developed the business further to specialise in Livestock Desensitisation Training, following the devistation dog attacks cause the farming community.
Kyra is studying as an Equine Psychologist and will be offering specialist sessions by the end of 2026. She has a broad understanding and passion for horses, combined with over 16 years professionally working in the industry, she is happy to have a chat and find out how she can help you and your animals.
We are available for dog training, exercising your animals, pre-puppy / adoption/horse chats, equine behaviour, 1-2-1 training, Lambing shed cover, Smallholder services and plenty more! (We cover Derbyshire and Staffordshire!)
We offer at home visits for your stay at home pets and full livery packages for our equine clients (we even sheath clean!)

At The Bark Parade, we specialise in positive reinforcement training. We have 16 years experience in the animal industry.
We understand how much we love our animals and care about each animal as an individual, striving to work with you, as the owner, to find a way to help you and your animals.
Livestock Desensitisation
The Law has changed! There is unlimited fines, prison time, seizure of your dogs and DNA testing for livestock worrying.
Every year we see more reports of dog attacks, that's where we want to help change things!
With our flock of super friendly sheep, we can help you and your dog understand the law, understand livestock and keep both dogs and livestock safe.
Equine Behaviour
I am working through Applied Equine Psyhchology with the Equine Behaviour Association, soon we will be able to offer Equine Psychology sessions specifically. For now we can offer help with Equine Behaviour. Our horses can sometimes be a little bit challenging. I'm here to help understand and listen to our horses needs and help you move forwards.
