Livestock Desensitisation
What is livestock worrying?
Livestock worrying is the act of a dog scaring livestock, if your dog is found chasing livestock up and down fenclines, in the field without a lead, biting, snapping and chasing livestock, you could face an unlimited fine. As of March 18 2026, Police are allowed to seize your dogs, do DNA analysis of bites and damage of livestock, the livestock owner is also permitted to kill or injure dogs harrassing livestock.
Every year we hear heartbreaking stories, this is why we have developed our Livestock Desensitisation classes, with our own much loved pet sheep.
If you would like a head start in having your dog meet our sheep, drop us an email to find out more.
Classes are be £100 per 6 week course or £35/45 minute and will be private courses for you and your dog.
